Thanks to Joe Anaya for preparing a great meal and to those people who helped in the kitchen and serving the food. They are Paula Narvaez, Frank Sandoval, Isabel Sanchez, Toni Bazan. Also thanks goes to Irene Garcia and Irene Barela for setting the tables and decorations in the hall for this event. Thanks also to Tim Saiz who was Master of Ceremonies and to Joe Moreno and Irene Moreno, Eddie Garcia and Irene Barela who served as escorts.
Congratulations to Robert L. Garcia for Legionnaire of the year 2011-2012.

Reminder: Children must be out of Social Quarters by 9pm on Friday nights. Members must show their Moose card upon arrival at the lodge to the bartender. If a member has a guest, the member must sign the guest in and the member will purchase drinks from the bar for the guest.

In 2012 the Board of Officers has agreed (on a trial basis) to have non-smoking days on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month in the Social Quarters. Smoking will be permitted on those days in the game room. Come on down – we will have darts and various games.

A big thank you to O.C Chambers and his son Norman Chambers for their time and materials donated for the sinks in the men’s restroom, and for the magnets on the cabinets behind the bar.

Thanks also to the building committee: Esther Baca, Isabel Sanchez, and Paula Narvaez, who thus far have raised $2,700.00 towards this endeavor.

At the District Meeting held on December 11th at the Lodge in Rio Rancho, our Lodge won the traveling trophy again for the most board of officers in attendance and the most LOOM members.

Thank you Irene Garcia for all the cleaning and arranging, the beautiful Christmas decorations, and all that you do to make our lodge look good!

On January 15th we will have a Moose legion breakfast from 9am to 11am, The cost of the breakfast for Legionnaires will be $5.00, adults $6.00 and children $3.00.
